Leeds has held onto its small town flavor and charm by preserving the local downtown district, historic homes and sites, and taking a steady pace in new growth and development. At the entrance of 2007, Leeds has introduced new housing communities, new restaurants and retail outlets and has additional growth planned for the upcoming months. One of the area's excitements, lies in the grand opening of Bass Pro Shops, slated for 2008.
